However, the information does not replace personal advice. Startercenter NRW advises founders on their way to self-employment at more than 70 locations throughout the country. Those interested in starting a business can not only obtain initial information, but also receive concrete advice and support on site, e.g. in the preparation of the business plan or the examination of the business idea.

General information on funding
In order to meet the challenges of the start-up phase, funding can be a decisive help. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia supports innovative ideas and products from founders.
The funding includes loans, grants, scholarships, guarantees, venture capital, the placement of business angels as well as individual funding for special industries and groups of people.
Selection of funding offers for founders
Nationwide initiatives and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia offer various funding programmes for founders, self-employed persons and start-ups.

The aim of start-up scholarships is to make it easier for founders to enter the business world, to support them with their ideas or to accompany them in the market launch of their products.
